My name is Fiona Gray, I am a Person-Centred Counsellor, a Fusion Therapeutic Coach, and a Clinical Supervisor. I provide long and short-term counselling and Coaching for adults from a wide range of backgrounds and diverse experiences. I offer face to face therapy in Chorlton, Manchester. I also deliver therapy online using Zoom Video Conferencing. I am a registered member of the BACP, I hold full indemnity insurance with Holistic Insurance Services, and I am DBS registered.
Counselling

As a Person-centred Counsellor I offer safe and confidential space for you to talk freely about your issues and concerns.

I have helped people to, work through the aftermath of coercive controlling relationships, complex grief, intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, anxiety, depression, unexpressed or numb emotions, extreme irritation and anger, fear of connection, painful separation and divorce, domestic violence, gambling, alcoholic and food addiction, disordered eating, body image issues and a whole lot more.

How I work
My therapy is personal to you. It is a collaborative process where we develop the therapeutic relationship together. I listen with the aim of understanding how your experiences impact your life, without making assumptions, analysing you, or trying to fit you into a formula.

I am an interactive person-centred therapist; I will be in there with you, without getting in the way of your thoughts, processes, and insights. You will feel supported and held by me as your confident companion through the more painful aspects of the therapeutic process. I will be your ally, as you connect with feelings you may have been avoiding or experiences you may have felt too difficult to explore or examine on your own.

Therapeutic Coaching
Therapeutic Coaching is a combination of the best that Counselling and Coaching have to offer. It is Solution-focused, offering you a range of tools and techniques to help you make lasting positive change and find new ways to move forward in life.

Couples & Relationship Therapy
I work couple’s where one or both partners are struggling to cope with a high level of distress that has negatively impacted their communication, intimacy, and sometimes safety, leaving one or both feeling isolated, alone, or afraid.

Supervision
I offer supervision based on the Seven Eyed Model of Supervision, first created by Peter Hawkins in 1988 and developed over 35 years. My approach to supervision is relational and collaborative. I trust your training, knowledge, and practice. I also appreciate as a new therapist we don’t always know what we don’t know. My aim is to support you and nurture your confidence and individual therapeutic style so that you feel effective and successful as you develop as a therapist.
