Ruth Huntingdon
If you’re thinking about counselling, it’s likely that you’re feeling unhappy, stressed, anxious or depressed. Maybe you’re even feeling overwhelmed or burnt out. You might be hanging on to difficult experiences from the past or maybe you’re struggling with making the changes you want for the future. Counselling can offer you an opportunity to explore your feelings and find a way through to increased self-awareness and a more fulfilled life.
I bring to my practice a calm and genuine warmth and will listen to your feelings in a non-judgemental way. I’ll respond to your needs with compassion, respect and empathy, and will use a holistic approach to help you work through your problem to better understand yourself.
I have 7 years’ experience working in the NHS, providing holistic support to patients, families and NHS staff and over 3 years working as a counsellor with Macmillan Cancer Support.
